Yes.
Yes, a proforma invoice is required to avoid packages being held up in customs for too long. Please note the following information: number of bottles, % of alcohol, quantity per bottle, price per bottle (between €1.5 and €4) and the words: "Sample of no commercial value - not for sale". Please stick this clearly on the parcel.
Yes, samples that are still in the vat are accepted. A document must be filled when you register.
You can present your samples with a provisional label clearly indicating the essential information (vintage, %, volume, etc.).
If your spirit wins a medal, this will enable us to offer you direct visibility in the "Results" section of our website.
Yes, you can validate your registration. Once the application has been validated, you can always go back to your account and add the visual of the bottles, the analyses, the proof of payment in the case of a bank transfer, as well as the necessary document if you are presenting a spirit that is still in vat. If you do not have the analysis at the time of registration, it is imperative that we receive it no later than 3 weeks before the competition start.
The invoice will be sent automatically to the e-mail address registered in your file, within a few days after the reception of your payment. If you are domiciled in an EU country outside Belgium, we recommend that you provide a valid VAT number. Otherwise, we will have to charge you 21% VAT. If you require an invoice in advance in order to pay for your participation, please request one from our team at spirits@vinopres.com.
Results are announced a few days after the competition closes. The results announcement date is available here. As soon as the results are officially announced, you will automatically receive an e-mail with your results at the address in your account. Only medal-winning spirits will be visible on the Results page of our website.
